Some travellers may have enjoyed the summer holiday planning and travelling so much that they want to become a travel agent.
I don't blame them, as it happened to me. I was a telecoms engineer on holiday on Barbados. I met some travel agents, they loved their jobs and I thought "this is the life for me".
So I bought a travel franchise in 2004. Back then the options were limited. Now there is a much wider choice and better support.
On this week's show, I chat with Paul Harrison from the Travel Franchise. Paul explains what is on offer from the franchise and that previous experience isn't needed.
If you are passionate about travel, then have a listen to Paul to find out how you can have your own travel business.
The travel industry is a great one to work in, and yes, you can get discounted travel!
I also complete my two-part series on researching flights. I cover finding the best seats and how to make the most of frequent flyer points.
