It’s a busy week for local Government. The County Commission has opted not to continue having a county manager, and new members rejected two members for appointed boards, one for legal concerns, and one over personal conflicts. Make no mistake, the county commission will erupt in fireworks sooner than later. And when they discover how much work they’ll have to pick up now that there’s not a County Manager to do their bidding…well, we told you so. The Commission meets at 9am Wednesday the 8th in the Library Conference room. Come enjoy the dysfunction. Oh, the Ely City council meets Thursday evening the 9th at 5, so you can get your double dose of dysfunction.
