GoFundMe is a very useful website when a person is faced with a crisis. Maybe their house burned down, or their facing a massive amount of medical debt... those are stories you expect on gofundme. Actor Mickey Rourke, unable to pay rent, also has a gofundme. A grown man, who can't pay rent, is asking others, to pay it for him. The sad part is, people are. Someone donated and left their phone number in the comments. Do you really think Mickey Rourke is going to call you up and thank you for the $25 you gave to him?
Personal loans exist for a reason. They aren't as easy as a gofundme, but they aren't as shameful either. You're an actor, get out there and sign an autograph or two and earn your rent like the rest of us out here in the rat race.
