Description

Welcome to Helping The Brave, a 30-minute podcast hosted by veterans Ed Parcaut and Amy Tiemeyer, where we provide a supportive space for veterans to share their experiences and offer practical advice and resources to navigate post-military life. In this episode, we're honored to feature Brandon Rumbaugh, retired United States Marine who joined the military at the age of 18 and served for five years of active duty. Brandon was deployed to Iraq in 2009 as an 81mm mortar gunner and later to Afghanistan, where he was squad leader. During his second tour, Brandon suffered multiple injuries from IED explosions, which resulted in the loss of both of his legs. After spending nearly two years undergoing extensive medical therapy at Walter Reed Army Medical Center, Brandon returned to his hometown of Uniontown, PA, and retired medically from military service in September 2012. Despite his injuries, Brandon is committed to serving his community through charitable works and inspiring others with his motivational story of perseverance, loyalty, and faith. Join us as we hear from Brandon about his experiences in the military, the challenges he faced after his injuries, and his journey to becoming a motivational speaker and advocate for veterans' rights. If you're a veteran looking for inspiration and practical insights on how to navigate post-military life, or simply interested in hearing from a true American hero, tune in to this episode of Helping The Brave with veterans Ed Parcaut and Amy Tiemeyer. #HelpingTheBrave #BrandonRumbaugh #USMarineCorps #MilitaryService #VeteranCommunity #CharitableWorks #MotivationalSpeaker #Perseverance #Loyalty #Faith #PostMilitaryLife #VeteranAdvocacy #VeteranInspiration #SupportOurVeterans #VeteranResources #VeteranEmpowerment
