In north Tulsa near the QuikTrip at 4500 North Lewis Avenue, police were called just after 5:30 a.m. Friday for two incidents occurring simultaneously. First, a woman reportedly jumped the store counter and took cigarettes before fleeing. While officers were responding, a separate altercation involved Jamario Beard, who exited the store, argued with a woman, then fired a shot at her in the parking lot. The suspect fled in a white El Camino. Officers located and arrested Beard near 3600 North Peoria Avenue, recovering a loaded handgun under the driver’s seat. Beard claimed he fired into the air, not at the woman, who had already left the scene. The case falls under the McGirt ruling and has been referred to federal authorities. The investigation continues as both involved women remain unidentified. For those with information, Tulsa Crime Stoppers requests tips at 918-596-COPS under case 2025-046820, and anonymity is assured. Police are not currently seeking public assistance regarding a suspect description in either case.

Near 13th and Garnett, around 7:50 a.m. Friday, a caller reported a vehicle burglary in progress. Officers arrived and traced the suspect to a nearby white Lexus. The woman, identified as Angela Harrison, was contacted by officers; she claimed ownership of the car and had its keys. However, the Lexus was found to be stolen, its license plates had been switched, and officers observed stolen packages in the vehicle. Harrison, 54, was arrested and faces charges including possession of a stolen vehicle after former felony conviction and receiving and concealing stolen property. She remains in the Tulsa County Jail. Officers are not seeking public assistance for additional suspects in this incident.
