Her most recent show, “Love in the Time of Coloring,” explores romance and desire in the age of smartphones, microaggressions and coloring books for grownups. Cabaret Scenes called it “…a charming, entertaining, and thought-provoking experience.” Justin Ritchie has been a cabaret performer in both the DC and NYC cabaret communities for over a decade. He has been lucky enough to perform at NYC’s Don’t Tell Mama, the Metropolitan Room and B.B. King Blues Club and locally in such venues as The Sitar Arts Center, Atlas Theatre, the Kennedy Center , Signature Theatre, and as part of the DC Fringe Festival. Lonny Smith is originally from Brainerd, Minnesota and has lived in the Washington area for 18 years. As a cabaret singer and actor, he has performed locally at Germano's, Sotta Sopra, the Capitol Hill Arts Workshop, the Kennedy Center, Signature Theatre, MetroStage, the DC Arts Club, and as part of the Washington Fringe Festival. He graduated from Carleton College and received a masters' degree in theater research from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. The DC Cabaret Network was founded in 1997 to increase the awareness of the art form of cabaret in the DC metropolitan area. Their mission is to increase opportunities for cabaret events and performances and build audiences that appreciate cabaret. The DC Cabaret Network is also connecting local cabaret artists and creating a home for performers where they can share information and grow artistically. http://www.dccabaretnetwork.org
