A spiritual author, counselor and professor caught in the midst of last week's events in Watertown and Boston, Dr. Allan Hunter will reflect upon Gratitude and the realities of our human journey.

A resident of Watertown who often assists others through his counseling, Allan is a professor at the Blue Hills Writing Institute at Curry College.  Allan's latest book is Gratitude and Beyond: Five Insights for a Fulfilled Life.  Allan has written several inspirational books, including The Path of Synchronicity, Spiritual Hunger, The Six Archetypes of Love, Life Passages, The Sanity Manual, Write Your Memoir and more.

Allan has a PhD in English Literature from Oxford University and started his career working with troubled adolescents, later teaching prisoners in Massachusetts.  His own experience of what occurred in Watertown and Boston is a very human story, which he continues to integrate through the perspective of his spiritual and life journey.
