It seems the election for the office of the President is at the forefront of conversation. As we have said before, no matter what your thought process is on this topic and others. There is someone who is speaking out with a microphone or platform to agree with your perception of what is happening and what is going to happen. If your not careful it will become a distraction of the enemy. I read something that we felt should speak to the hearts of all that claim to be a people of faith. I have my political views like everyone else. I choose not to post much about politics on Facebook for two reasons: (1) I have never seen a political post on Facebook that has changed my political opinion. (2) I’m sure my political post would not change your opinion either. With that being said, I watched the election returns on Tuesday night and went to bed late thinking President Trump had been re-elected. I slept great and got up the next morning and went to work. I watched the news off and on during the day and went to bed late Wednesday night thinking Joe Biden is probably going to be the President-elect. I again slept great and got up the next morning and worked outside all day. The point of this rambling is that there is a much higher Power that has done much more for me and my family than President Trump, Joe Biden, or any other man can ever possibly do. If you’re putting your hope, faith and confidence in man, Democrat, Republican, or Independent, you will be disappointed. We don’t always understand things that happen but I believe God is always in control. I’m Thankful He Is! Whoever the President is, or will be, will not change that. This is the message of faith we all claim to have. Tonight we want to encourage people to look at your perceptions of Jesus, the bible, and your relationship with GOD. Because you need facts, and not perceptions in this day!
