25 years ago Comedian Tommy Moore "The Professor of Fun" was told that he might never stand on a stage again. Since then he's done over 3,500 shows speeches, and seminars at Comedy Clubs, Casinos, Cruise Ships, Colleges, Corporations, Churches, Synagogues, Resort Hotels, and on Radio & TV. He's headline over 350 times at Caesars' Resort Hotels, and opened for Dionne Warwick, Bobby Rydell, Chubby Checker, The Platters, The Coasters, Robert Goulet, The Dovells, Jay & the Americans and many more in concert. He's given his "Laugh Away The Stress" lectures to companies like AT&T, Dupont, American Express, and SONY.  He taught comedy courses, including The History of American Comedy at Philadelphia's Temple University, written for MAD Magazine, toured with the USO, written a newspaper column "Comedy Corner" for eleven years, and through it all worked with and met some of the biggest super-star comedians in America. His act is a combination of jokes, props, magic tricks (that never work), audience participation, improv, and even sing-a-long! Always a proponent of "clean comedy" the mission statement of his act is to "Use humor to Entertain, Inform, Uplift, and Heal"...and the same can be said about his book. It's a motivational self-help book about the important things in life, (and how to stay happy in tough times), as seen through the eyes of some great comedians.
