The victim identity is a form of slavery. Those who have labeled persons as victims have done so in order to control their destinies. Think about it for a moment, and then carefully consider the results of victim-hood. Jesus never treated persons as victims. He knew that people determined their destinies through their actions. Victim-hood is also a political tool to create an attitude of dependency. Politicians are masters of selling people on their lack of ability to care for themselves and their collective futures.
