Entitled Drunk Woman Begs Police Not to Arrest Her
On July 21, 2024, West Amwell Township Police Officers O'Connor and Switalski observed a vehicle traveling 85 miles per hour (MPH) in a 55 MPH zone. They initiated a traffic stop on the vehicle, which was being driven by a 41-year-old woman. The police report indicates that officers detected a strong odor of alcohol coming from inside of the vehicle.
The woman was asked to step out of the vehicle in order to perform standardized field sobriety tests. At the conclusion of the tests, she was placed under arrest for Driving While Intoxicated. She was transported to the West Amwell Township police headquarters for processing. The police report indicates she submitted to an evidential breath test and the result was 0.16% (or twice the legal limit).
An intoxicated woman finds herself in trouble with the law but refuses to accept the consequences of her actions. Slurring her words and stumbling, she pleads with officers, demanding special treatment while growing increasingly entitled and belligerent. As the arrest unfolds, her desperation turns to arrogance, making for an unforgettable encounter caught on bodycam.
