In the middle He planted the tree of life and the tree of knowledge of good and evil. God gave His first command-not eat or touch the tree of knowledge of good and evil or you will surely die. They disobeyed sin enter the world and eternal death and damnations was attached. Sin gave a death penalty that had to be paid in order for us to be redeemed back to God. When man fell sin entered, we were separated from God. Because GOD hates sin and GOD is righteous, just and holy, His nature disallows Himself from coexisting with sin in His presence. That’s not the way God planned it. But God had a Master Plan before the foundation of the world to deliver us from the power of sin through His Son, Jesus Christ. We are now found not guilty. God has perfect knowledge of all things, his understanding is so much greater than ours, and He has no limits; God knows everything and yes, He knew the man would fall. Not that He orchestrated the fall, but he allowed it.
