Many firearms perform exceptionally well right out of the box, but some parts could be better. An AR with a charging handle that only works on one side or a Glock that is uncomfortably compact are just two examples. With aftermarket parts like a Glock 43X extended mag base plate or an ambidextrous charging handle, your gun can be better than what is out of the box.
