As the US escalates to war against China, there has been a concerted program of demonization against China in the form of Sinophobic propaganda drawing on racist stereotypes: China is dangerous, dirty, and despotic. Yet, after Covid travel bans were lifted, tourists began flocking to China and streaming thousands of videos that refuted these tropes.
