In this podcast, we talk about the American TV show “Succession” (2018-2023), created by Jesse Armstrong, which depicts the power struggles within a powerful media family.

The series paints an unsympathetic picture of the main characters, who fight unscrupulously and egotistically to succeed the patriarch. Despite the viewer's dislike of the characters, we describe the series as captivating and exciting, comparable to a Shakespeare play.

We emphasize the special camera work and the critical portrayal of the business world. The series received high reviews and is regarded as one of the best television series of all time.

Plot:

The Roy family is known for controlling the world's largest media and entertainment conglomerate. The family also owns studios, theme parks, and cruise ships.

However, everything changes when the 80-year-old patriarch and CEO, Logan Roy, announces his retirement. His children begin to battle each other to succeed him, revealing their moral corruption in the process. This family lacks any redeeming qualities, as do the people associated with them. They would stop at nothing to achieve their goals.
