Description

We live in a culture that increasingly blurs the lines between truth and opinion, morality and preference. As godly parents, we’re not just raising children to survive culture—we're raising them to transform it. Paul’s words to Timothy are urgent and relevant: teach the Word boldly, correct with grace, and hold fast to truth—even when it’s unpopular. We see this modeled in the life of Daniel. Though taken into Babylonian captivity as a youth, Daniel remained rooted in God’s truth. He refused to compromise on his diet, prayer life, or identity—and through that, God gave him favor and influence. In the same way, we are called to lovingly correct cultural lies—not by shouting at the world, but by living truth out loud in our homes. When media, schools, or peers present a worldview that doesn’t align with Scripture, godly parents step in with clarity, not confusion—with truth, not trends. Our children will face complex questions about identity, justice, marriage, and purpose. The best preparation we can give them isn’t fear or isolation—it’s truth wrapped in love and lived with consistency.
