Forgiveness is one of the greatest gifts parents can give their children—not only in words but in action. Godly parents understand that mistakes will happen, both from themselves and their children. How they respond in those moments teaches a lesson far greater than any spoken rule. When children see their parents extend grace to each other, apologize when wrong, and forgive them when they fall short, they learn the heart of God. Just as God has forgiven us, we are called to extend the same mercy. Forgiveness brings healing, restores relationships, and creates a home where love, not resentment, flourishes.
