Letting go is one of the most challenging parts of godly parenting. From the first day of school to sending them off to university or marriage, each phase of growth requires a new level of release and trust. Yet, letting go doesn’t mean giving up—it means entrusting our children into the hands of the One who formed them. Isaiah 54:13 reminds us of a deep and powerful truth: it is the Lord who ultimately teaches and secures our children. As much as we train, guide, and pour into them, it is God who seals the work. We see this in the story of Hannah and Samuel (1 Samuel 1:24–28). After years of prayer, Hannah fulfilled her vow and gave Samuel back to the Lord. What courage! What faith! She released her son into God's service, confident that the same God who heard her cry would lead Samuel all his days. This is our call too—to let go with grace, knowing our children are not alone. God is with them. God is for them. And He will finish what He started in them.
