Description

“Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience... And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity.”
 — Colossians 3:12–14 (NIV) Children may not always do what we say, but they rarely miss what we do. In Luke 10:25–37, Jesus told the story of the Good Samaritan—a man who modeled compassion when others walked by. The power of that story is not just in the words spoken but in the actions shown. Godly parenting is much the same—our actions are the strongest sermon our children will ever hear. What we live speaks volumes. When our children see us forgiving quickly, praying consistently, and serving humbly, they begin to understand what following Christ looks like in everyday life. They learn not just from our instruction, but from our reactions, our responses, and our rhythm of grace.
