As parents, one of our greatest responsibilities is to equip our children for life, not just spiritually, but practically. Finances are a big part of that. Proverbs 3:9 10 reminds us that financial wisdom begins with honouring God first. When our children learn to give, save, and spend wisely under the guidance of God’s principles, they are positioned for lasting provision and stewardship. Consider the story of the widow in 1 Kings 17:8 16, who gave her last bit of flour and oil to feed the prophet Elijah. She modelled generosity and trust in God's provision. Her obedience didn't leave her empty—it left her continually supplied. When we model financial faithfulness and generosity in our homes, we teach our children that God is the true source of all provision.
