In an all new series of mini-episodes, Katie and Liz tell the short tales of murder and disappearances surrounding people of color in the New England states. For whatever reason, the POC community does not get nearly as much media attention as their white counterparts, and their cases have a higher rate of not being solved for this exact reason. In an effort to shed light on these crimes that deserve to be solved, True Crime New England has launched short episodes, coming every other Sunday, to bring forth some attention. On the first installment of the Case Profiles, Katie tells of the murder of 25-year-old Ronny Almonte, and Liz shares the confusing murder of 29-year-old Chansay Sayavong. Anyone with any information on these crimes is asked to please contact the Rhode Island tip line at 1-877-RI-SOLVE.
