Join Katie and Liz on the 22nd installment of the case profile mini-episode series. On today's episode, Liz starts off by sharing the details of the murder of Tremaine Newton, who, in 2009, was found dead in his car near a commuter parking lot in Connecticut. Initially believed to be an accident, police discovered that his injuries clearly didn't line up with a car crash. Then, Katie shares the story of the disappearance of 16-year-old Rosa Maria Valentin out of Hartford, Connecticut. She was last seen walking home from work before getting into the car with a 29-year-old man, who was a registered sex offender, and has not been seen since. Anyone with any information about the homicide of Tremaine Newton is asked to please contact the Connecticut State Police at Troop G in Bridgeport at (203) 696-2500 or (800) 575-6330. Anyone with any information on the whereabouts of Rosa Valentin is asked to please call the Hartford police department at (860) 667-6292.
