Description

In this week's episode of True Crime New England, Katie and Liz tell the story of an unsolved double-homicide from Portsmouth, New Hampshire. In the early morning of a cold February day in 1991, a two-alarm fire broke out in Mariner's Village. The fire had spread from the back of the home and even to a neighbor's house. Inside were two deceased bodies- elderly roommates, Stella Bolton and James Moore. Upon further examination by the medical examiner, it was discovered that the pair had not died from the fire, but rather from being stabbed several times each. The town was not only confused, but terrified. Who could have committed such an awful murder...and why? Tune in to hear about how the death of two very kind people led to an ongoing 31 year mystery. Anyone with any information about the murders of Stella Bolton and James Moore is asked to please call Seacoast Crime Stoppers at (603) 431-1199 or Detective Rochelle Jones at (603) 610-7503.
