I have a dream...Celebrating Our Jubilee! Our forefathers and mothers planted trees from which we gather fruit, and dug wells from which we quench our thirst. Civil Rights Activist marched for us, died for us and pleaded for our equality. So what are we leaving behind for our communities today? What are we fostering in the minds of our Black children? How will we strengthen our families and our communities? How will we show the power of LOVE in the world? Fifty years ago, Dr. King's "I Have a Dream..." Speech debuted in Detroit and transformed a nation. Today, we Celebrate the Year of Jubilee and join in that movement of teaching us all to evolve in our beliefs, values and purpose for elevation of our consciousness into the greatness that lies in the Human Spirit. Today is Cinco de Mayo, a time of celebrating Mexico's victory over France's invasion of Mexico. Let's celebrate our freedom, and make a commitment to Awake, Evolve and Grow. Let's Awake from the slumber of mediocrity and challenge ourselves to overcome the limiting beliefs formed from our past, invading our ability to live freely and fully. Let's allow our conscious minds to Evolve into greater awareness of our potential inside, of the unity within, so we can unleash a greater power of Love to express in and through us. And lastly, let's Grow and allow the Power within to transform our souls into expressions of light to lead our families and communities into more unity.
