Kim Dae-doo was a South Korean serial killer who went on a 55-day killing spree in 1975, targeting isolated and impoverished houses. He started as a petty criminal and developed an inferiority complex due to his failures. Kim's crimes escalated from burglary to murder, with a total of 17 victims. He was eventually caught and sentenced to death, while his accomplice had his sentence commuted to life imprisonment. Kim's will emphasized the importance of keeping first-time offenders away from hardened criminals.
