This week we discover family comedy classic "Home Alone" from 1990, directed by Chris Columbus and starring Macaulay Culkin, Joe Pesci and Catherine O'Hara, about an eight year old who is left alone by his family over Christmas and must defend the house against burglars in a home invasion, while learning valuable lessons about Christmas and the importance of family.
We talk about how Home Alone holds up 35 years later, about misconceptions we had about the movie before watching it, and what makes for a successful franchise.
