This week we review and discuss Night Swim, a supernatural horror movie directed by Byce McGuire and starring Wyatt Russell and Kerry Condon, about a suburban family who discover that their backyard swimming pool is haunted by a malevolent entity.
We discuss why this movie did not survive the transition from the excellent short film to full length movie and barely has anything to do with it, why even relatively likeable characters can't save it, and how it's really two very different stories in one movie, one of which would have actually been a great horror movie had it been allowed to breathe.
