On the Day of Pentecost, the Holy Spirit was poured out on the disciples of Jesus Christ, and they were totally transformed. They went from hiding behind look doors, out of fear, to boldly go out on the streets, preaching about Jesus as the Messiah, the Son of God. And nothing could stop them, not threats, persecution, or being killed. And the Holy Spirit made the gospel reach the center of the Roman Empire, Rome, in a very short period of time, and today it is spread all over the world, against all odds.
