Genesis 19:26 states, “But his wife looked back from behind him, and she became a pillar of salt.” This verse contains a powerful warning. Jesus Himself emphasized its importance with the words, “Remember Lot’s wife” (Luke 17:32). Her tragic end stands as a testimony to the spiritual peril of disobedience, divided loyalty, and failing to leave sin behind.
