In our modern, individualistic society, there is a dangerous and pervasive lie that has taken root: the belief that we can go it alone, that we can be our own gods, and that we have no need for the community. But this is a direct contradiction of God’s design for humanity. The Bible tells us that we are social creatures, made for relationship with God and with one another.
