We have no Ukraine policy
It's hard to understand the Trump administration's Ukraine policy unless we assume there is none, then it all starts to make sense. We've seen the waffling in both directions, frustrations mounting that it won't just stop and zero progress has so far been made. In fact we may have hit a new low as Steve Witkoff used the 2022 referendums as evidence of why eastern Ukraine belongs to Russia.
