Is anybody tired out there? I know it’s not just me. I’ve been in these streets because of the nature of the work I do — and everybody I’ve picked up lately has been overworked, underappreciated, stretched out, and near-about insane trying to keep up the pace!I’m talking that not-enough-sleep, too-many-miles, busy–dizzy–frizzy kind of season — where we show up smiling, but underneath… we’re surviving on borrowed breath, energy drinks, and prayers.💭 I don’t know if this looks like flourishing or thriving to me… does it to you?Because Proverbs 11:28 boldly declares:“The one who trusts in riches will fall, but the righteous will flourish like a green leaf.” 🌿Now, the NLT says “leaves in spring,” but in Hebrew, the word used here is ʿālê raʿănān (עָלֶה רַעֲנָן) — meaning fresh, flourishing, full of life. That’s where I got this idea of Green Leaf Energy.📖 Proverbs loves to teach by contrast — it’s either this or that. But today, I want us to look beyond the contrast — and drill down a bit.Because sure, if you’re trusting only in your riches — your resources, your grind, your own energy — eventually, it’ll run out. But when you’re rightly aligned with the Divine, you don’t just survive the fiercest heat — life finds its way back to flourishing again.It’s that image of a green leaf. 🌱 A green leaf isn’t a one-time thing — it’s a cycle of renewal. That tree goes through summer’s blaze — some leaves dry up, some fall off — but eventually spring comes back around. And what looked withered? Returns greener. Fuller. Wiser.💫 That’s what flourishing really is. It’s not about always looking strong — it’s about the resilience that brings you back to new levels of growth. You’ve been through the sun’s fire, and now you know how to draw deeper from the root.That’s Green Leaf Energy — the sacred ability to come back again, even after the hottest season.So if you’re tired right now, don’t mistake fatigue for failure.
