Proverbs 6:23For the commandments are like a lamp, instruction is like a light, and rebukes of discipline are like the road leading to life,Proverbs Daily is a reader-supported publication. No streetlights.Just shadows and the sound of your own heartbeat. So when morning came — the return of light —it meant safety, direction, and hope were back on the map. That’s the same light God’s Word brings inside you. When you follow His instruction, you carry your own daylight. When correction comes, it’s not punishment —it’s a flashlight on the road to life. And maybe that’s why Jesus said,“Let your light shine.”Because the world doesn’t need more heat — it needs illumination. And you already got that spark burning inside you.Let it rise.Remember:“Shine from within, even when the world’s still dark.”PrayerLord, light up my path and keep my spirit bright.Today’s ChallengeTomorrow morning, don’t rush.Watch the sunrise. As it climbs, ask God to make your inner light just as steady —a lamp that never burns out. Then go light somebody else’s morning.About the AuthorFred Lynch is a creative communicator, author, and Christian Hip Hop pioneer.
