Not your problems. Not your plans. I’m talking scale. You look up and see the sky—endless, untouchable. But you can’t grab it. You can’t measure it. It just… is.Then there’s the ocean—massive, mysterious. You can sail across it, but you can’t see the bottom. So it’s real, but it’s out of reach. But a mountain? Ahh… you can touch that. You can climb it, stand on it, map it, measure it—and still feel small in comparison.Like the mountain itself is flexing on you:“You ain’t bigger than this.”And right when you start to feel the enormity of that,Lady Wisdom weighs in like,“Before that mountain ever showed up… I was already here.”Before the mountains ever struck a pose…before the hills had their curves carved out — Lady Wisdom says,“You see that big, unmovable thing you call a mountain? Before you could climb it, name it, or map it — I conceived it!”Talk about a flex! She’s the first thing first. The blueprint, the one in the room where it happened—Shoot it was in her womb or it didn’t happen! That’s wild, right? The mountain feels eternal to us — steady, strong, ancient —and Wisdom flexes like,“Yeah, I pre-date all of that.”And it’s not arrogance — it’s origin. She’s not bragging — she’s bearing witness. And then Jesus comes along and says, “If you have faith the size of a mustard seed, you can tell that mountain to move.”Now pause and think about that proportion: A seed could easily get lost inside a mountain, and yet Jesus says the mountain can get lost in the sea.So the seed gets swallowed by the mountain, the mountain gets swallowed by the sea, and the sea? It still answers to the Word that made it.That’s cosmic math. That’s proportion. That’s priority. And Wisdom — she was there before all of it. Before faith, before fear, before formation — Wisdom was the first thing first. So when you sit with Wisdom, you’re not just talking to a good idea —you’re sitting with God’s first idea.Let me land this…RememberBefore the biggest things on earth took shape, The smartest thing in heaven was already smiling.PrayerStill me, Lord—let ancient Wisdom rise within me.Today’s ChallengeTake five minutes today — just five —and imagine you’re sitting across from Lady Wisdom. She’s radiant. Steady. Ancient, but full of joy. Ask her one question about your next move. Then hush…and listen. Because before you move your mountain —she might move you.About the AuthorFred Lynch is a creative communicator, author, and Christian Hip Hop pioneer.
