It’s the kind of path that’s quiet enough to hear your own heartbeat ( and every now and then an animal rustling)... And as I’m walking, I realize something — the path only looks lonely when you forget it’s leading somewhere.Every twist, every rise, every stretch of dirt underfoot is a reminder: you’re not lost… you’re heading somewhere. And maybe that’s what the writer of Proverbs meant when he said,“In the path of righteousness is life, and in its pathway there is no death.”Because when you stay on the path — even the silences are sacred. Even what looks like dying is just another turn toward living.🌿 No Death??Now, this verse doesn’t say there won’t be shadows. It just says that death doesn’t have the final word. Because on this path, life keeps showing up — quietly, persistently, like roots pushing through the ground.Think about this: Right now, as you’re listening, about 30,000 to 40,000 skin cells are dying off your body every minute. That doesn’t mean that you are passing away, it just means that they’re giving away to new skin cells. That’s renewal in motion. That’s what it looks like. That’s what righteousness also looks like when you walk it out daily —dying to the old you…making space for the new.The longer you stay on the path, the more you begin to live differently. You stop panicking at what’s passing away. You start trusting what’s being born. And before you know it, the fear of death fades — because you’ve been walking with Life Himself.Jesus put it like this:“Whoever believes in Me has already passed from death to life.” (John 5:24)So yeah, the path might get quiet. It might get lonely. But don’t mistake silence for absence.Keep walking. Because the longer you stay on the path, the more you forget how to dread dying — and start remembering how to really live. 🌅PrayerLord, keep my steps alive when death feels near.Today’s Challenge1️⃣ Go outside. Walk a literal path — a sidewalk, trail, or road.2️⃣ With each step, breathe slow and repeat: “There is life in this path.”3️⃣ Notice what’s shedding — and thank God for what’s growing. 🌱About the AuthorFred Lynch is a creative communicator, author, and Christian Hip Hop pioneer.
