I’m driving up to L.A. from San Diego to preach at my friend’s church in Long Beach. I wasn’t completely where I wanted to be in life. Bills on my mind. Doors barely opening…Feeling like ‘purpose’ was a long time coming. Then… I stumbled across a talk from the OG motivator himself — Les Brown — and it was that famous message called “Hungry.”Man… something about that word “hungry” hit different that day. It lit something in me. By the time I pulled into Long Beach, I was ready to preach like my breakthrough had already come. Why? Because my hunger was louder than my frustration. That’s what this proverb is talking about:“One who is full loathes honey…” — people who have it easy don’t value the sweetness. “…but to the hungry, everything bitter is sweet.”When you’re hungry, you make it work. When you’re hungry, you turn bitter moments into building blocks. When you’re hungry, you stop complaining and start creating. Some folks sit at the table picking at the honey, but the hungry? We turn the crumbs into a feast. 🍯🔥🧠 LESSON: The Power of HungerLes Brown said it best: “You’ve got to be HUNGRY!” And I took that to heart. Here’s why hunger matters:* Hunger turns limitations into launchpads.* Hunger makes what others call bitter, taste like destiny.* Hunger wakes you up when comfort tries to rock you back to sleep.People who are full get picky.
