- By the grace of God, we have the opprotunity to be saved, to be in Christ and in His Church. But being faithful until death, as commanded in Revelation 2:10, can sometimes seem like an impossibility. What happens when a faithful Christian walks away from God? Can he come back? Is he perpetually lost? Our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, answers these very questions as only He could, in a parable. The parable of the Prodigal Son is one that almost everybody can relate to, or even have lived it at one point in time.
