Jamella has always been involved in the performance world, briefly living in Vegas with her mom who was a JLo impersonator. When her mom recognized Jamella's talent, they moved to Los Angeles for greater music opportunities, leading to a development deal with Timbaland's manager. She recorded some music but it was never released before the deal ended. Currently, Jamella works as a mortgage loan processor and part-time princess impersonator at parties. She works closely with her mom on her music career.
