In 2010, Kylie began studying at Berklee College of Music, where she developed the soul side of her voice. In 2012, she left school and moved to Nashville to pursue music. In 2014, Kylie was doing a show at the Stone Fox when she experienced a vocal hemorrhage and couldn't speak for a month. During that time, she focused her attention on writing.
