The forbidden fruit gave knowledge. It was bitter. It was forbidden. And once taken good for me evil was discernible. Was it a more happy stage? Or did they have to go through the bitter to appreciate the sweet? The same today, knowledge is bitter. Those around us that fall victim to the devil's lies will never have to endure the persecution, the abandonment, and the stress of knowing. The forbidden fruit is better but it is better.
