THE 10TH ANNUAL WELSH FAMILY "BASH IN THE BACKYARD" TO BENEFIT FARA
Brendan Welsh was diagnosed with a rare debilitating life-shortening degenerative neuro-muscular disorder. Friedreich Ataxia (FA). Brendan was 12 when he was diagnosed. His parents...as would any parent....are doing whatever they can to raise awareness and money for research and a cure.
Every summer the Welsh family throws a big party in their backyard with food, cold beer and live music. With the generosity of area businesses and everyone pitching in, they are hoping to reach a 10 year goal of raising over $220,000.
Every year family and friends show up and the public is invited to attend as well and help this family raise money to fight this disease.
