The Artist
Alexandra is a young christian soul artist born and raised in the heart of Virginia Beach, Virginia. Being brought up in church, and into a family of singers, Alexandras' drive for music and Christ was inevitable; but it was at the age of four when she saw something that sparked the journey. While traveling on a bus during a church mission trip, Alexandra watched a VHS of a young girl who stood next to a grown woman and bellowed out the most amasing notes. She would later learn that these were the vocals of a young Kierra Sheard, and seeing that awakened the drive within. By the age of seven Alexandra was writing songs and poems about her love for God and veiw of the world she lived in. Alexandra has had the opportunity to sing and engage with various artist such as Twinkie clark, Kirk Franklin and The Family, Nancy Hendrix, Jada Spight, Kim Thomas, Judith McAllister,and a few others. Having these opportunities has given Alexandra the insight to the professionalism and charater an artist must have. Being a lover of all different genres, Alexandra experiences joy in creating gospel music in various sub genres, giving her music the freedom to transcend. On August 5th 2015 Alexandra released her first hit single called "This I Say" and rose to #1 on local charts. In
November 2015 Aexandra was nominated for,an RAA (Radio Alliance Award), for Alternative Christian Artist of the Year and on July 15th 2016 Alexandra became the winner of that Award. But above all things Alexandra strives to please God with not only her music, but her
