Welcome back to another episode of This is Rammy. This week we’ve had Father’s day and the result of one of the biggest voting decisions in living memory for the UK.

Yes, we voted as a country, just about, to leave the EU. However, that’s not what this show is about and I’m sure you’ve heard plenty of that news in the past few days.

So, on with the show.

Lolos Ramsbottom
Lolo’s Ramsbottom

It’s been a fairly quiet news week recently, mostly dominated by the referendum. We had some friends come over from Australia though, and took the opportunity to take them to Lolo’s for a lovely lunch. I was going to take a few photos of what we ate, but in all honesty, I decided to take the afternoon off and just enjoy our friends company, sometimes it’s good to just enjoy.

On the way back from Lolo’s we nipped into Hearts for Homes as my wife has been desperate to take a look around. The place is amazing, so many lovely things for sale. My son and our friends daughter took it upon themselves to try out every one of the stools they have there. We finally left with one of Stuart Barkleys quirky street scenes:

GarageDampProblemAs well as that we’ve finally got our garage damp problem under control. We were due to get it done anyway, but when we came home to about half an inch of water kicking around the garage floor, we had to speed up that process, lucky for us we had a few days of half decent rainfree sunshine and it was able to be done.

I’ve been asking you to fill out the listeners survey recently, as mentioned I take these yearly to try to ensure that I’m on track to meeting what you expect and that I can hit as many of your wants as possible.

As well as this, I learn a little bit more about how you listen to the show. For example, I know some of you are likely listening to me in the bath right now, Hi there, you’ve got a little bit of soap on your right shoulder, up a bit, yep that’s it.

One clear comment from you was that there is not enough publicity of This is Rammy, well this is where you can come in. If you feel that This is Rammy is not publicised enough, then please, share it with your friends, your family, your followers. This can be on the internet via social media for example, or even in person. I’ve been bumping into more of you who listen to the show and visit the website when I’ve been around town and it’s a great feeling to know that I’m informing and entertaining you. So thank you, it really means everything to me but I do feel like you might have a friend or family member who might just enjoy the show or the website as much as you, so please, pass it along.

If you’ve not yet completed the survey, you have until the end of June to have your say, so please take a look at the 2016 audience survey.
