For the past five years, David Agnew and his team have been putting on one of the biggest events for Ramsbottom each year, the Ramsbottom Festival. This is a massive occasion for Ramsbottoms events calendar, with music, shows and entertainment across three days, it’s always a busy fun packed weekend for all the family.

David has been working in the arts for over fifteen years, and his experience with The MET and his new venture “So it is” helps in bringing in the quality acts we get to see in Ramsbottom for the past five years.
To put together an event the size of Ramsbottom Festival, (where last years event topped 10,000 visitors) is a year long labour of love. David is no stranger to hard work though, he’s constantly working to find acts and musicians to perform for the events he’s involved with for example The Lost Carnival, a family show involving a mysterious Carnival coming to town in Burrs Country Park, Bury.
Not only does Ramsbottom Festival put on some quality musical acts each year but the other focus is on arts installations, one of which is The Wheel House, this is an interactive show where the audience walk along with the act as it moves around.
This years Ramsbottom Festival is from Friday 18 Saturday 19 Sunday 20 September 2015, tickets are available on the website or from The MET in Bury.
