Description

If you’re just getting to the point of 2017 where your good intentions and New Year’s resolutions are starting to wane, then this week’s guest could be just the ticket to give you that boost you need.

Richard Ferguson is an international motivational speaker, as well as this he’s a management consultant working with some large familiar global businesses.

Richard certainly knows his stuff and since chatting with Richard I actually managed to release more content for the website and get some of those niggling tasks off my list.

I got back from this interview in very strong winds and unfortunately mine and my wife’s cars had both ran out of washer fluid. I had some trouble popping up the bonnet of my wife’s car, but I managed to get it done, sometimes you don’t quite know where the latch is, especially when it’s not your car.

So I was wrapped up with scarf in 3 degree temperatures and 20 mile an hour winds filling up my wife’s washer fluid after the interview, it was late,we both have work in the morning, but I got it done. So I lowered the bonnet, and it wouldn’t close. I pushed it, nothing. I lifted and dropped it, nothing. Nightmare. So now, I was stuck with a bonnet half open in very strong winds.

On the subject of things closing, well, in the case of the bonnet it was the opposite but have you noticed that both The Masons Arms has closed as well as Reel2Real Cinema?

I’m not sure exactly why The Masons arms has closed, if you know why get in touch, it’s not too often a pub goes out of business in Ramsbottom so hopefully it won’t be long until it opens back up again.

I’m gutted I never got to Reel2Real too, I guess that’s probably partly why it’s closed, too many people intending to get there, and just not getting chance.

Ramsbottom United BadgeRamsbottom United News: 34:22

Today 10th placed Bamber Bridge faced 11th placed Ramsbottom United.

Away at Bamber Bridge, Ramsbottom could have caused a real problem for themselves when a handball in the box gifted Bamber Bridge a penalty.

Thankfully this was missed and at half time it remained nil nil. The goal drought was ended though when on 55 minutes Max Hazeldine scored a fantastic goal after the ball was hoofed up the field towards him.

This win now puts Ramsbottom United into 9th place in the league however we’re only two points away from 6th and with two games in hand that could be a reality. A fantastic run of form for the Rams this year making it five wins, two drawn matches and just one loss this year so far.

The next match for Ramsbottom United is at home against Clitheroe on Tuesday the 21st February. Kick-off is at 19:45.
