Description

"The language of disunity is demonic language. You can't keep talking crazy and think you are going to get peace out of it. You can't keep talking nonsense and think you are going to get sense out of it. We have to fight for biblical unity."
--Pastor Joseph Davis

Uncommon Unity
Miracles happen in environments of agreement and unity, a unity that is not man-made but divinely ordained. This is exemplified by Peter and John walking together in one accord. True unity involves stewarding the connection God has established, caring for one another's needs, and having a culture of togetherness, fellowship, and prayer.

Gospel-Centered Purpose
The church's purpose must be centered on the gospel, which is a message of compassion and grace. The man at the temple gate was born lame, but that was not the end of his story. The gospel provides a new beginning through being "born again," which changes our nature and habits. A gospel-centered approach means having a compassionate nature and remembering the grace God has extended to us, which motivates us to extend grace to others.

Renewed Trust in Godly Leadership
Trusting leadership is vital, but it must be based on observable, righteous behavior, not blind faith. Peter and John's unity and shared purpose showed a model of leadership where one's voice could represent the other. This trust is built on leaders demonstrating fruit, a righteous example, and a sincere desire to please God. The pastor encourages people to "open their eyes" and evaluate their leaders by their actions.
