What did Job do to deserve the losses he suffered? NOTHING!
The life of Job reminds us:
God sees the finished product!
We see the PAIN-God sees the PROCESS!
We see the TRIAL- God sees the TESTIMONY!
We see the BATTLE- God sees the VICTORY!
In the middle of the trial, we must remember God is the God of RESTORATION!
Job 42:10- ‘turned’- Hebrew- ‘shub’-return to the starting point.
Some of the best medicine we can have in the middle of suffering is PRAYER!
Trials make us SELF-CENTERED.
Prayer makes us GOD-CENTERED.
Trials make us look INWARD.
Prayer makes us look UPWARD.
God paid Job back with interest!
Job’s greatest blessing through these trials was not the restoration of his family or
fortune, it was KNOWING GOD BETTER!
