Peter declared Jesus was approved by God through miracles, signs, and wonders.
Jesus declared every aspect of His ministry would be replicated in His followers.
The message of the Kingdom of God must be preached as Jesus preached it to see
the results Jesus saw.
Peter and John, along with the early church determined the best way to get the
Message to all people was to ask for miracles, signs, and wonders to accompany
their preaching. Acts 4:29-31
The purpose of miracles, signs, and wonders:
1. To cause unbelievers to consider the message of the Kingdom.
2. To prove the reality of the Presence and Power of God.
3. To have a supernatural impact of the preaching of the message.
The Scriptures, from Genesis to Revelation, are filled with miracles, signs, and
wonders. Why don’t we see these things in the Western Church?

3. Pride Romans 12:3 James 4:6
4. Fear
Fear of His Power Exodus 20:18 Acts 24:25
Fear of surrender Mark 10: 21-22 Luke14:33
Who will we be: prideful and powerless or humble and faith-filled?
