Studies find that men still don’t spend as much time on household chores as their breadwinning wives. Indeed, in female-breadwinner households, the greater the income disparity, the less housework the husband does.
Except when it comes to cooking. Between 2002 and 2010, men upped the amount of time spent cooking each day — and the more their wives earned, the more time the men spent in the kitchen.
Jennifer and Rachael consider why cooking is men's favorite chore — and how doing the laundry and vacuuming can follow suit.
