Hey, I’m Congcong, a mascot of the Hangzhou 2022 Asian Games. I look like a famous jade cong. It was found in Liangzhu, Hangzhou. It is about 5,000 years old. Chinese people love jade. It stands for peace and kindness. Ancient Chinese liked to wear jade. They also used jade to show their respect to the gods. Jade plays such a big role in China. That’s one of the reasons why they made me a mascot.
